She is best known fo being the spouse of former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Tony Blair. Booth was the third Chancellor of Liverpool John Moores University from 1999-2006. On 26 July 2006, she was awarded the honorary title of Emerita Chancellor, as well as the honorarily naming of the Cherie Booth Building at LJMU. |
