AdminHistory	Information on the history of the Liverpool Nursing Schools is scarce. Hobbyist historians interested in the Schools of Nursing have determined that in 1974 there were 18 combined schools of nursing in the Liverpool Region of the NHS involving 59 hospitals in nurse training. It is possible that St Helens Hospital and Whiston Hospital combined to form the St Helens and Whiston School of Nursing.
