AdminHistory
New Musical Express is a British indie and pop music magazine, published every week from March 1952. It was the first British magazine to introduce a singles chart.
CustodialHistory
The collection was transferred to LJMU Special Collections & Archives in August 2015 from the University of Reading. The publications in this collection originally belonged to Colin Masters Dredd (also known as Colin Dredd), the bass player for the Newtown Neurotics, who hoped that the publications could be left somewhere they would be consulted.
