The series includes events, appearances, readings, courses and non-musical performances. It includes a large set of correspondence, material relating to Willy Russell’s term as Associate Artistic Director at the Liverpool Playhouse, involvement with the Quintet Films production company, and a series of production rehearsal notebooks and diaries. The series also includes material relating to Margaret Ramsay, who was Willy Russell’s literary agent from 1974 – 1991, and material relating to Willy Russell’s education and work as a teacher, and correspondence with producer Bill Kenwright and director Glen Walford. This material was created by Willy Russell, or in the course of processes relating to the production of works by Willy Russell.
