Description	Material relating to the novel The Wrong Boy. The series includes manuscripts, predominantly from the draft screenplay produced in 2004, publicity and media material from 2000 – 2001 and correspondence from 2000 – 2004. Some of the manuscript material for The Wrong Boy was initially stored with material relating to Willy Russell’s involvement with the touring production Words on the Run, as excerpts of a draft form of the novel which became The Wrong Boy were read by Willy Russell as part of the production. The novel The Wrong Boy was published in 2000 in hardback by Doubledare, a subsidiary of Transworld Publishers Ltd, and in paperback in 2001 by Black Swan, also part of Transworld Publishers Ltd. The cover was designed by Robert Russell, Willy Russell’s son. The novel was recorded as an audio book, read by Willy Russell and has been translated into 15 languages. A screenplay for a television series adaptation of The Wrong Boy was produced by Willy Russell & Matthew Greenhalgh in 2004, but the series was never produced. This material was created by Willy Russell, or in the course of processes relating to the production of works by Willy Russell.
