| CustodialHistory | This collection was kindly donated to LJMU Special Collections & Archives in 2011 by Roger Webster, former Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professional, and Social Sciences. The material was originally compiled by Webster's godfather Francis Frederick Clough, the solicitor, HiFi enthusiast, and compiler of the World's Encyclopaedia of Recorded Music (WERM), and his wife Clara Elisabeth Robinson who was an artist, graphic and textile designer, contemporary of L S Lowry, and compiler of promotional catalogues for domestic products. The couple also travelled widely and kept leaflets and brochures to document their excursions. |
