Keith Medley Photographic Collection

This large collection consists of rare glass plate negative images taken commercially and for press release across Merseyside by Keith Medley and his colleagues and associates, in addition to the manuscript ledgers which record the photographs' contents. They are particularly notable for their vast documentation of social and cultural life in Merseyside across the 1950s-1980s, as well as for their unique 'dual portraits' technique of capturing multiple headshot photographs split across a single glass plate.
